Google Web Search Features: “Recent Developments in the SCO vs. IBM lawsuit has prompted GoogleLabs to lend a most welcome hand by devising a method to parse the 1 million pages of code on paper that SCO recently submitted as evidence against IBM and Linux. With its usual eye for creative solutions and thinking outside of the box, Google has employed and imported over 3000 Chinese children to pore over the code by hand and note down code instances that may look familiar to them in a small notebook that GoogleLabs itself has provided. Google is confident that this approach will work very well, as the SCO themselves used a similar approach when doing their in-house code-comparison.
