Keep getting asked to enable the assistive devices permission for the Steam app even though it already IS enabled?

Close Steam and go to System Preferences\\Security & Privacy\\Privacy\\Accessibility and disable Steam. Open Steam. When it asks you to enable support for assistive devices, deny permission. Close Steam. Go back and enable Accessibility. Open Steam. Rejoice.
